The idea behind the speed networking event organized by WomInTech, a student initiative at the Université Libre de Bruxelles that promotes gender diversity in the tech world, was to bring together female tech professionals with students. 

The speed networking event took place on November 23, 2023, and was sponsored by Orange Belgium, AGC Glass, and Capgemini Engineering. The participants? About 70 eager students. The concept was straightforward: one female engineer and several students sat together at a table, and after a few minutes, the students rotated to the next table. 

This gave students the opportunity to listen to the experiences of women from various companies, including our own tech expert Nabila Jaddou, and ask them their burning questions. With the presence of our recruiter Gönül Cesmeli, they also learned more about the internships and student jobs we offer.
